After completing the form, providers may email it to support@mcc-therapies-llc.com, our HIPAA‑compliant, encrypted inbox dedicated to referrals and clinical communication OR fax it to our HIPAA-compliant online fax (440) 325-8500. All referral documents are reviewed promptly, and if communication is requested on the form, our team follows up within a standard 1–2 business day timeframe to confirm receipt and discuss next steps. MCC Therapies provides pediatric occupational therapy for children with a wide range of developmental, sensory, motor, and neurodivergent needs. We specialize in supporting children with autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, developmental delays, and complex learning or behavioral profiles. Our approach is strengths‑based, neurodiversity‑affirming, and grounded in evidence‑based practice to help children build independence, confidence, and functional skills across home, school, and community settings.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

MCC Therapies offers highly specialized support for autistic children, backed by advanced training and national certifications. Our founder is a Certified Autism Specialist, Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist, and Certified Neurodiversity Coach, ensuring that every session is affirming, sensory‑aware, and aligned with current best practices. We help autistic children build regulation, communication, motor skills, executive functioning, and daily living skills through individualized, child‑centered intervention.

Attention‑Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

We provide occupational therapy for children with ADHD and related executive‑function challenges, including emotional regulation, attention, task initiation, and organization. MCC Therapies is actively working toward advanced ADHD‑specific certification, ensuring that our methods reflect the most up‑to‑date research and strategies for supporting neurodivergent learners. Developmental Disabilities & Delays

Pediatric Feeding, Fine Motor, and Daily Living Skills

• Early Childhood (Ages 1–5)

  School‑Age Children (Ages 6–12)

  Pre‑Teens, Adolescents, & Young Adults (Ages 13–25)

  Older children and teens benefit from occupational therapy focused on executive functioning, self‑advocacy, emotional regulation, life skills, and transition planning. Our services support autistic teens, teens with ADHD, and those with developmental disabilities as they navigate increasing expectations at school, home, and in the community. MCC Therapies offers flexible payment and reimbursement options for families seeking high‑quality pediatric occupational therapy in Ashtabula County. We currently accept private pay, Ohio Medicaid, Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) for families using the Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship, Caresource Marketplace (through 2026 due to their withdrawal), and Caresource Medical (Medicaid branch). Our goal is to make services accessible, transparent, and easy to navigate for families and providers.

Private Pay

We offer straightforward private‑pay rates for families who prefer direct access to pediatric occupational therapy without insurance restrictions or delays. Private pay allows for individualized treatment planning, flexible scheduling, and services tailored to your child’s unique needs. Many families choose this option for its simplicity and ability to begin services quickly.

Ohio Medicaid

MCC Therapies is an approved Ohio Medicaid provider for pediatric occupational therapy. Families with active Medicaid coverage can receive services with no out‑of‑pocket cost. Medicaid covers evaluations, ongoing therapy, and medically necessary interventions that support your child’s functional development, sensory needs, and daily living skills.

CareSource

We have now completed the enrollment process with CareSource, one of Ohio’s largest Medicaid Managed Care Organizations. Families with CareSource coverage will be able to access pediatric OT services through MCC Therapies.

United Healthcare Medicaid (Next Enrollment Step)

Following CareSource approval, United Healthcare Medicaid is the next MCO we are working toward contracting with. Expanding our Medicaid MCO partnerships ensures more families in Ashtabula County can access high‑quality, neurodiversity‑affirming occupational therapy services.

Jon Peterson Special Needs (JPSN) Scholarship – ODEW

MCC Therapies is an approved provider through the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce (ODEW) for the JPSN Scholarship. Families using JPSN can apply scholarship funds toward occupational therapy services, including evaluations, treatment sessions, and specialized interventions. We assist families in understanding how to use their scholarship funds and how OT fits into their child’s IEP and service plan.

MCC Therapies offers flexible scheduling for families seeking pediatric occupational therapy in Ashtabula County. During Summer 2027, we are available most days and times, as school‑based services pause for the season. Beginning August 17th, our school‑year schedule includes weekday availability from 9:00–11:00 AM and 3:30–7:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Limited weekend visits may be available when needed, though we prioritize consistent Monday–Friday scheduling to support predictable routines for children and families.
